Everyone is gearing up for Festival. We are running out of time rapidly and our household is several tents behind schedule. My beautiful house is still in pieces. Huge chunks of asbestos litter the landscape. Garden beds need building. My shower is a plastic bag and some cockroaches. I have no pants. Hysteria is setting in.

Tenbears springs into action.

Shopping takes more time than we often allow for, so to cut down on last minute salami buying I have, this very day, cunningly purchased a 5 kg tub of curing salts. All we have to do is add some meat and ingredients, put it all into sausage casing and then sit back with a few beers while microbes and bacteria do the work for us.

How easy is that?

And you all thought I was a hopeless dreamer whose actions never live up to his ambitions. Shame on you all for thinking that. Hang your heads in shame.

don't worry, my shower is a plastic bag too, which has sat in the boot of my car since last festival and undoubtedly is now infested with rampant colonies of deadly car spiders of the genus Ford-us Telstar-iae TX5-anoids, just waiting to be flushed from their plasticky home onto my hot, dusty body on about the third day of festival.

well, that's their wily scheme, anyway, but i plan to thwart it by just being a dirty bitch and not showering for the whole time. i invite everyone to join me. testify!

Oh no!!!

His shower AT HOME is a plasic bag!

They have recently had the asbestos removed from their house.

The walls were temporarily lined with plastic to allow them to shower.

Temporary, that's right.

Not permanent.

Temporary.

Got that?

oh. what an embarrassing faux pas on my part.

if by "people wash at festival" you mean "people totally don't do any hygiene-preserving activities whatsoever", then yes, exactly.

sorry for the misunderstanding.

*slinks out to car to throw away plastic shower bag and makes plans to pretend she loves being dirty at festival*
