Super Achievo-bear

A little song.

Sing hooray for mighty Tenbears,
He is mighty and great.
He is a super crazy doing bear
of the first order.

Woo Woo.

His talents are many,
and include vehicular repairs.
He's not a lazy doofus.
No, no, not at all.
So stop saying that.

Woo Woo for Tenbears.

Feel free to perform this song at public events, without fear of copyright issues. Use any tune you like, or be like me (always good advice, btw) and don't fuss over such matters.

As you might all have guessed, I finally got around to replacing the headlights on my four wheeler yesterday. I was quite proud of myself, yay me. I was so pleased at having done something I've been putting off for a while that I went crazy and fixed the central locking as well.

And here's where it gets a bit technical.

I found the problem but it was the sort of problem that is normally fixed with a particular tool.

I don't have that tool...
but I am aware of the existance of things designed to effect such a repair without said tool.

I don't have any of those things.
There are also things on some bicycles that, whilst designed to perform quite a different function, seem sufficiently similar in form to fit the bill.

I don't have any of those things either.

So I built my own thing out of some stuff. It was more like the second thing than the first thing, but it worked a treat. The whole thing might require a bit of [profile] mr_bassmaning, but I will most likely wait until it breaks again. That might never happen. I once made an oil pump cover gasket out of some cornflake packet that was still fine when the rest of the bike fell to pieces 100,000 km later.

I am the Fixing The Car Champion of the whole world.
Swell with pride at knowing me. Sing songs about my greatness. Feel free to dance in my honour, but always remember that I feel that rhythm stifles creativity.

That works rather well, doesn't it?

And I hope you are very proud of me for not saying anything out loud when we were driving home after dark the other night with [livejournal.com profile] sacred_chao in the back and I suddenly remembered you still hadn't fixed them.

Well done for choosing the freeway, btw.

You are an absolute champion and sexy to boot.
